The world is devastated by the recent loss of United Kingdom's Queen Elizabeth II, and many renowned companies are joining in the wake of her death, with Apple remembering the life and times of the British royalty. The Cupertino giant updated its website's homepage image that centers on the historical queen who served the longest position amongst all British monarchs.

Going to Apple's official website now will see a majestic image of Queen Elizabeth II during her early age, with the company joining the world in their mourning on the loss of Great Britain's Royal leader. Instead of seeing the latest release of the company from its recent showcase of the iPhone 14, it changed its design to showcase the memorial for the past Queen. 

Apple also included a short message on its website that states "In Memoriam. Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. 1926 - 2022."

The colorful website of Apple which previously showed the new iPhone 14 is now showing a black and white photo of the Queen on a black background on the website, something which it does not normally do for other renowned personalities who passed away.

Commemorating the Life of Queen Elizabeth II

The now-King Charles III released a statement on the death of her mother via the Royal Family's Twitter page, stating that the country and the entire family are in mourning due to this unfortunate event. 

Many entities in the world are joining together with Buckingham Palace and the United Kingdom to pay respects and tribute to the Queen on this day of great sadness. Queen Elizabeth II passed away at the age of 96 on September 8, 2022.

The Queen of the United Kingdom is the highest seating position in the British monarchy, and Queen Elizabeth II's reign brought a significant influence on the entire world. The world is mourning with the Royal Family and the entire United Kingdom due to the loss of their leader, commemorating her life and times for what she brought to the country. 

Boris Johnson, the former Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, claimed that September 8 is the "country's saddest day," the day of the Queen's death. 

Nevertheless, different entities and figures paid their respects to the British Royalty in the wake of her death, including Apple and other known companies in the world. Queen Elizabeth II put massive importance on technology as well, especially during her long life when she was witness to different technological advancements in the world. 

It is known that the Queen first made her tweet in 2014, and embraced the use of social media to address her constituents and the world.

Queen Elizabeth II's passing earlier is massive news for all, particularly as it ends her almost 71-year reign over the United Kingdom, the longest time for any British monarch. Her life's work is a significant one for the UK, especially as she led the country and faced tough times, with renowned tech companies like Apple joining the country in the wake of her passing.
