In this day and age, almost everything on the internet is free, and that includes video editing, thanks to various online platforms.

In fact, one of the biggest free-to-use graphic design platforms, Canva, apparently also offers video editing features.

According to an article by Blogging Guide, Canva allows its users to create all sorts of graphic designs for free, including social media marketing content and website banners.

Not to mention that Canva also helps users produce content for Instagram Reels or TikTok, as well as YouTube videos. In fact, Blogging Guide claims that YouTube creators are heavily using the free-to-use graphic design platform.

It is worth noting that in most cases, video content would be dull and less engaging without any sounds. That said, adding some audio tracks and sound effects is critically important in creating entertaining videos.

Given that, Canva has made adding some audio or sound effects on videos pretty simple. To do so, you'll only have to follow the steps below.

Adding Audio Tracks and Sound Effects via Canva's Audio Library

According to the support page of Canva, the Audio tab provides various sound effects and audio tracks that its users could choose from.

Without any further ado, here's how to add tracks and sound effects straight from the audio library of the free-to-use design platform.

  • Select the "Audio" tab from the editor side panel.
  • From there, users have two options: Either search for the audio or sound effects through the search bar or check out the categories.
  • And once you have chosen your preferred audio or effects, select it to add it to your video.
