Nintendo Survey Asks Users Which Pokemon Game/Spin-off They Would Want to Play

As per the latest report by Nintendo Life, gaming companies send out surveys to their gamers from time to time.

It seeks to gauge what the fans of their games are looking forward to. The results from these questionnaires further help their giant firms to get an idea of what they should pursue next for their future game developments.

Nintendo Life notes in its report that other gaming juggernauts like Capcom are sending out similar surveys to check the pulse of their players.

And this time, the Pokemon publisher, Nintendo, has sent out its latest survey to the users of its loyalty program that goes by the name "My Nintendo."

Nintendo on January 13 unveiled its new Switch game console, which works both at home and on-the-go, as it looks to offset disappointing Wii U sales and go head to head with rival Sony's hugely popular PlayStation 4.

The survey now specifically asks subscribers of the My Nintendo newsletter how they would want the massive Pokemon franchise to move forward.

According to a recent report by My Nintendo News, a Mystery Dungeon subreddit shared a screenshot of the Nintendo survey.

New Pokemon Game/Spin-Off?

The survey asks its participants "which kind(s) of Pokemon games(s) would you like to play in the future?"

Several choices point out possible future iterations of current offerings such as "Mystery Dungeon" and "Pokemon Go."

One of the choices gives the participants an option to opt for a "new game similar to Pokemon GO." It is worth noting that the AR mobile has been widely popular with smartphone users.

There is also an option for a remake or a remaster of the iconic traditional Pokemon titles, including "Omega Ruby / Alpha Sapphire" and "Brilliant Diamond / Shining Pearl."

The survey also lets users choose a new game, which is based on traditional Pokemon games like "Red/Blue" and "Sword/Shield." The other option points to another new game offering "set in an open world," similar to "Scarlet / Violet."

But besides these potential new games that the survey offers its participants, it also includes a possible spin-off.

One of the options lets them choose a game under the current Pokemon spin-off, including the "New Pokemon Snap" and the "Pokemon Mystery Dungeon."

However, if the participant has an idea apart from these options, it would not be a problem. There is also a choice to share what they have in mind.
