Elon Musk's Tesla Supercharger network across various countries in Europe has reached a new milestone since it debuted in the region.

One of the biggest hurdles that potential EV customers consider is the lack of charging stations. However, as the demand for all-electric cars skyrockets, the charging network for electric cars also grows.

Elon Musk's Tesla Superchargers in Europe Reaches 10,000

And the Supercharging network of Tesla appears to be significantly ramping up across several countries in Europe.

As per the latest report by Inside EVs, the Tesla Supercharger network in Europe now has roughly 10,000 individual connectors, serving numerous electric vehicle (EV) owners.

The news outlet notes that the Supercharger network of the Musk-owned EV maker in the European region has reached 30 countries. It includes Spain, Sweden, the United Kingdom, and Turkey, to name a few.

The official Twitter account of Tesla Charging celebrated the significant achievement of the giant EV maker. The recent tweet notes that there are now more than 10,000 superchargers across 30 countries in the European continent.

Tesla Superchargers in Europe

According to a report by Teslarati, the giant EV maker now has 35,000 Supercharges in various parts of the world. But Inside EVs notes in its report that roughly a quarter of all the Tesla Superchargers are found in Europe.

The Supercharging stations in the European region have reached various nations, including Norway, Sweden, Italy, Netherlands, France, Germany, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland.

It is worth noting that the number of Tesla charging stations in Germany is now more than 140. On the other hand, France and the UK sport 123 and 100 Superchargers, respectively.

The Musk-owned carmaker launched its Non-Tesla Supercharger Pilot program to a few European Union territories. It essentially allows car owners of other EV brands to also top up their batteries in Tesla charging stations.

The program includes locations, such as the UK, Iceland, Switzerland, and Germany. Not to mention that EV owners in Austria, Belgium, Spain, Denmark, Finland, and Luxembourg could also charge their vehicles on Superchargers.

Tesla Supercharger Price Hike in Europe

The latest milestone of Tesla in Europe comes shortly after the giant EV maker jacked up the pricing of its Supercharger in the region.

As per a report by Electrek, the American carmaker gave its EV owners in Europe a heads up about its price increase. The memo says that it is all "due to an increase in energy prices."

The news outlet notes that the increase varies depending on the location. But on average, the hike is roughly €0.12 per kWh.
