The RTX 4090 graphics card from Nvidia will be made available for purchase on Wednesday, Oct. 12, and the most recent leaks around this graphics processing unit (GPU) make it sound amazing on a variety of levels, along with the volume of launch stock.

According to TechRadar, well-known YouTube-based leaker Moore's Law is Dead (MLID) is the source of all of this new information. MLID claims to have received word from several sources about the amount of stock of the flagship GPU that will be available at its launching date.

Expect Plenty of Stocks Upon Launching

The gist of the leaked information was that there will be plenty of units of the Lovelace flagship graphics card, at least with large retailers in the United States, and that even medium to smaller outlets are set to receive a decent amount of stock within the first week.

Based on rumors, the launch of the RTX 4090 will be a very significant event, and in comparison to Ampere, Nvidia will reportedly have approximately four to five times the volume of initial flagship GPUs.

It's interesting to hear that there will be a good number of units available right off the bat. The volume of interested customers is increasing, but with the rumored amount of stock, the RTX 4090 may not just sell out on day one, which is pretty rare for a GPU launch these days.

Rumored Specifications of the new GPU

MLID has also disseminated information that it has heard about the performance of the RTX 4090.

The rasterization speed of the RTX 4090 is usually roughly 80% faster than the RTX 3090, but in some instances, it is quicker. The rasterization performance refers to regular graphics and does not refer to ray-traced graphics. When it comes to ray tracing, you may anticipate bigger gains, and in general, it will be almost twice as fast as the RTX 3090.

Another significant leakage is the assertion that the RTX 4090 is far more stable and less prone to the occasionally substantial power spikes that top-end Ampere GPUs display. The hypothesis is that if an RTX 4090 is left at its factory settings and not overclocked in any way, it should be possible to switch it right into a computer that already has an RTX 3090 Ti or even several other RTX 3090 systems without any problems. However, TechRadar advised a healthy amount of skepticism.

The mentioned details were obtained through conversations with reviewers; however, the leaker does not provide any more specifics.

The Nvidia RTX 4090 Ti Supremacy?

In September, initial leaked details about the upcoming RTX 4090 Ti surfaced on the internet.

According to the reports, the RTX 4090 Ti may be superior to its forerunner. Looking at the GPU, the leaked specifications about this graphics card might show its 12.5% gain in performance.

The RTX 3090 Ti, as a point of comparison, offers up to 15% better performance than the base RTX 3090. Based on this, it was assumed that the RTX 4090 Ti and RTX 4090 graphic cards would perform similarly.
