Airtel 5G is now available, and the telecommunications company is marketing its upgraded service under the name Airtel 5G Plus. 

The company has initiated service for its 5G network in eight cities in India, including Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Nagpur, and Chennai, amongst others. It is announced that customers will be able to use the telco's 5G service with the same 4G plan they already have. 

Once the 5G network has been fully developed and is accessible to more people in the upcoming months, Airtel and other telecoms may create new 5G plans.

Since the Airtel 5G Plus is serviceable in major parts of the country, the telecom firm has provided a list of smartphones from various brands such as Xiaomi, Realme, Vivo, Oppo, and others capable of providing 5G connectivity. 

Here is a complete list of smartphone models from different manufacturers that can connect to the Airtel 5G service. Some of them need an over-the-air (OTA) firmware update, which is expected to be available in the coming weeks.
