Apple said that the iPhone 14 series is the best in the current lineup of all iPhones in history, and they got that right with the latest speed tests from Ookla regarding 5G phones. The iPhone 14 Pro trumps all smartphones in existence for the fastest 5G download speeds for devices, beating that of the iPhone 13 and the Galaxy S22 series.
The device draws power from the latest chip from Qualcomm, the X65 5G modem which is available on the iPhone 14 Pro now.

According to Ookla's Q3 report for internet and connection speeds, the iPhone 14 Pro holds the top download speeds for all smartphones in existence. It beat that of the iPhone 13 lineup, as well as its competitor, the Samsung Galaxy S22, in terms of its 5G speeds, powered by Qualcomm's X65 5G module.
Ookla notes that T-Mobile still holds the fastest 5G in the country, and paired with the iPhone 14 Pro, the device is an unstoppable force that can bring up to 147.42 Mbps for the Pro Max. On the other hand, the iPhone 14 Pro delivers 142.57 Mbps, grabbing the second spot.
According to 9to5 Mac, The Galaxy S22 Ultra was only able to output 102.87Mbps landing the third spot and is far from Apple's iPhone 14 Pro numbers. While the iPhone 13 Pro Max can only perform up to 96.46 Mbps, clinching the fourth spot.
Both the third and the fourth places feature Qualcomm's X60 5G module, the predecessor of the X65.
