According to the story by IGN, the new "Pokemon Go" 2022 Halloween Event starts with different Research Tasks that give players numerous limited-time rewards when completed. 

The article then enumerated the different Research Tasks in "Pokemon Go" that players have to accomplish to get specific rewards. These rewards are also limited, so players must move as fast as possible to claim them.

• Complete the "Catch 5 Ghost-type Pokemon" task to get a Shuppet Encounter or Duskull Encounter reward.

• Complete the "Catch 10 Ghost-type Pokemon" task to get a Yamask Encounter reward.

• Complete the "Catch 25 Ghost-type Pokemon" task to get a Galarian Encounter reward.

• Complete the "Walk 5km" task to get a Phantump Encounter reward.

• Complete the "Spin 5 PokeStops or Gyms" task to get Gengar Mega Energy x20 reward.

• Complete the "Spin 10 PokeStops or Gyms" task to get Absol Mega Energy x20 reward.
