'Genshin Impact' Yoimiya Build: Weapons and Artifact Sets

Greetings, traveler! Fans of "Genshin Impact" have been arguing what the best Yoimiya build should be, what artifacts to use, and what weapons work best. The truth is, this highly depends on the player's team, but there's a standard build that will help bring out the best in her.

'Genshin Impact' Yoimiya Five-Star Pyro Character

Yoimiya is a popular DPS five-star pyro character in "Genshin Impact" who wields a bow, making her a great addition to the player's team should the player be more DPS-focused and less tank-focused. Of course, this still highly depends on how the player's team is structured.

Interestingly, four different weapon choices push her to different trajectories depending on the player's picks. As for artifact sets, there are two that players can choose from to solidify their Yoimiya build.

Yoimiya as a Main DPS Character in 'Genshin Impact'

An article by Pocket Tactics shares the different weapons and artifact sets that work best on the character as long as they support the player's party. At the end of the day, the effectiveness of the Yoimiya build depends on their role in the party.

The guide was designed with "Genshin Impact's" Yoimiya being used as the main DPS. If players do not use Yoimiya as the main DPS, they are free to tweak the weapons and combinations any way they like.

Yoimiya Weapon Build:

Thundering Pulse - increases attack by 20% and grants thunder emblem normal damage is increased by 12, 24, and 40% upon stacks one, two, and three. Bonus effects include critical damage +14.4%
Polar Star - increases elemental skill and burst damage by 12%. Yoimiya gains one stack of Ashen Nightstar for 12 secs after attacks. Attacks increase by 10, 20, 30, and 48% depending on the stack when Ashen Nightstar is activated. Bonus effects include crit rate +7.2%.
Skyward Harp - increases crit damage by 20%, with hits having a 60% chance of dealing AoE attacks dealing 125% physical damage. This effect can happen once in four seconds. Bonus effects include crit rate +4.8%.
Rust - increases the player's normal damage by 40% but decreases aimed shot damage by 10%. Bonus effects include attack +9%.
Slingshot - increases damage by 36% if a shot hits the target within 0.3 seconds of being fired. If not, the damage increases by 10%. Bonus effects include crit rate +6.8%.

Yoimiya Artifact Build

Shimenawa's Reminiscence - attack increased by 18% if two were equipped. Attack damage is increased by 50% for ten seconds when an elemental skill is cast with Yoimiya having 15 or more energy, and when this activates, 15 energy will be lost if four are equipped.
Crimson Witch of Flames - pyro damage increased by 15% if two were equipped. Overloaded and burning damage increased by 40%, while vaporize and melt damage increased by 15% and elemental skills are increased by 50% for ten seconds when four are equipped (doubling the two equipped).
