Samsung Galaxy S23 is Greatly Improving its Camera Frame Rate for 8K, Leak Says

As per the latest news story by Android Police, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S23 is likely getting an upgrade that frame rate nerds would surely appreciate.

It is worth noting that the flagship smartphones of Samsung never fail to offer impeccable shooting capabilities. It is why the S series typically gets compared to Google's Pixel phones and Apple iPhones in terms of cameras.

An impressive camera system is an essential feature of smartphones these days. Gone are the days when the imaging capabilities of mobile devices were greatly compromised due to their size.

So year after year, phone makers make sure that their latest offerings rock the best possible mobile photography capabilities.

And now, a leaker dropped a huge upgrade for the camera frame rate of the S23.

It is worth noting that the current flagship of Samsung, the Galaxy S22, only offers 24 frames per second (FPS) for its 8K video recording resolution.

But this time, Ice Universe tweeted that the rumored flagship of the South Korean phone maker is upgrading it. After all, 24 FPS looks janky for today's video standards. Android Police says that it surely gives a classic movie vibe.

The well-known leaker says that the Galaxy S23 series is raising the frame rate of its 8K video recording from 24 FPS to 30 FPS. This should let users shoot videos with less stuttering, making them look more natural.

But if you seriously want to take smooth videos, you can achieve up to 120 FPS while shooting on 4K with the S22 lineup. It remains to be seen if Samsung is also taking this a notch higher for its next smartphone.

According to a recent report by Notebook Check, Ice Universe shared leaked test photos allegedly taken by a Galaxy S23 Ultra.

The photos are reportedly taken from the 200-megapixel (MP) snapper of the Galaxy S23 Ultra. The news outlet notes the stark difference between the leaked photos and what the S22 Ultra produces. The former is way sharper.
