Chief Twit is keeping his name, title, and position as the Twitter CEO, and while this was not specifically claimed, the top billionaire implied this in a recent tweet that claimed Elon Musk would take another role within the company.

The controversial Twitter poll, which asked the public what they thought about him leading the platform, appeared out of the blue yesterday, and it asked people whether he should stay or go from social media. The poll ended, resulting in people saying "Yes" to his question about stepping down, with more than 17 million participating.

After posting the poll for people to vote in, Chief Twit tweeted an old and famous quote saying, "Be careful what you wish for, as you might get it."

With a reminder for people about kicking him out of the platform, that is short-lived. Here, a verified Twitter account claimed that Musk had already picked out a successor for the platform and would continue to serve as an overseer via a Chairman of its board.

However, the Twitter CEO immediately dismissed these claims, saying that "no one wants the job," especially in keeping Twitter alive, which he paints to be hard and troublesome. Further saying that "there is no successor" for the position and platform's leadership.

Twitter Poll Results: People Want Musk Out of Twitter

It circles back to the controversial Twitter poll which allowed people to decide the fate of the company under the multi-tech CEO, one that saw 57.5% of the more than 17.5 million user votes wanting to oust Musk from the platform.

While it was a close poll, with people who disagreed with him stepping down only garnered 42.5% of the votes, with the online voting ending after 24 hours.

In spite of this, there seem to be no plans from the current CEO to step down as its leader.

Chief Twit and his Run as the Twitter CEO

Elon Musk's Run as the Twitter CEO started with his acquisition of the platform which was completed last October 27, and from this moment forth, people were torn whether to accept him or depart the platform. Despite many disagreeing with his methods and antics as the new leader, he remained and prevailed over it, with many things changing on his patronage.

One of the significant focuses of Musk's leadership is to focus on "free speech to the extreme," where people will have their right to express themselves without censorship as long as it does not violate any laws.

However, that quickly changed with the recent incident of the real-time tracking of Musk's private plane, where his and his family's safety was threatened after suffering from doxxing on the platform.

Twitter is now seeing an edit button, an $8 verification subscription, more freedom, a future with long-form tweets, and more under the new management, and people have mixed feelings about this. It can also be said for their perception of the CEO and whether he remains its leader, as evidenced by the recent poll that ended with close results but was agreeing to kick him out.

For now, it seems like Elon Musk will remain despite the results.
