Tesla's recent over-the-air Holiday Update for 2022 included a variety of new features for the electric vehicle, and one of the most famous ones here is the Steam Beta integration on its infotainment system. However, apart from allowing people to use it as a gaming system on the car itself, there is also a hack to use it in one's home as a console.

This feature is made available through the recent Steam Beta availability in its car's system, now making it possible for its owners to experience more at home with their cars.

According to a Reddit post from u/tearaway_Tea from the famous r/TeslaMotors forum, gamers can link their Tesla EVs' infotainment system to their Apple TV devices or MacBooks via the Steam Link app.

The Steam Link will help in delivering the experience from the source to a compatible device, as long as they are connected to the same network and turned on during this gaming time.

Additionally, gamers also need to ensure that both devices are connected under the same WiFi network for this to work, and should have both devices in range.

After which, log in to one's Steam account and control the Link app's feature on the intended device they wish to stream games on in this experience.

Also, ensure to connect a game controller or other peripherals to gain access to the setup and make it work.

Tesla and its Holiday Update with Steam Beta

A Redditor calls this a "$100,000 gaming laptop" setup, and this is because Tesla prides itself in the specs of its infotainment system that it specifically paired with gaming-capable processors.

This feature is possible thanks to Tesla's recent Holiday 2022 update with the Steam beta now available on the electric vehicle's infotainment system which it made available on December 14.

Tesla prides itself on its infotainment system's capability to run "Cyberpunk 2077," a high-process game in the industry that one can play directly on the EV.

Another feature of the Holiday Update 2022 is the cabin camera update where users can monitor their pets left inside the EV using Sentry Mode or Dog Mode.

Additionally, Tesla gives users a treat this holiday season to feature a lights show for the different EVs of the company to sync up and deliver an enjoyable Yuletide experience for all.

Tesla and its Offers for All

One of the latest deliveries from Tesla is its Wireless Charging Platform now available for users to preorder, coming by February 2023 for all that bought it now. It allows people to charge three devices at once, all getting 15W of power evenly distributed per gadget.

On the other hand, there is a sale on Tesla now, and it features $7,500 off the regular price of its EVs in this limited offer from the company. It is a part of the company's goals to increase its shipments, especially as it is seeing a market decline now, amidst the many controversies and issues with its Autopilot and FSD.

With the new Holiday Update's Steam Beta, users are given a chance to access gaming right on their cars, but it goes further with Valve's Steam Link app to help in turning it into a home gaming console for all.
