The 2024 RAM 1500 EV is one of the most exciting releases in CES 2023 from Stellantis, but its recent revelation of the pre-production variant of the electric pickup truck has gone a different route. Instead of its futuristic looks and design, the latest looks of the new electric car are reminiscent of the previous variants of RAM trucks.

Stellantis' previous release in CES 2023 was a concept, and it may be used by the company for its actual production or not, and in this case, it goes another route for it.

A new video was uploaded by Stellantis, which reveals more of the current pre-production release of the company's latest electric vehicle, the 2024 RAM 1500 EV. However, there is a significant difference between what it revealed in this video and what it showed the world in the recent CES 2023 showcase that first spotlighted its truck.

In the front fascia of the EV alone, there is a massive difference between this version and the old ones, and this latest release from the company is leaning more toward its previous looks.

The new EV's current revelation of its actual release in late 2024 portrays more of its current designs, particularly those of the company's ICEs.

RAM 1500 EV goes a Different Route in Pre-Production

And while it is understandable that it goes a different route in pre-production, Stellantis gave the world a future-looking 2024 RAM 1500 EV, which captured what people think of when imagining an electric car.

Still, many elements may come into play, and there might be changes in the future, but do not get your hopes up.

The 2024 RAM 1500 EV is available for pre-order via its website for a secured unit once it releases.

Stellantis is a company that also looks into electrification, moving on from its internal combustion engine releases to transition to the next-generation mobility that the world is leaning towards. It recently pleaded guilty to the charges against it for violating the Clean Air Act, centering on its diesel engine emissions fraud for its vehicles.

The company is now determined to change its ways and center on electric vehicles that change its operations and presence worldwide.

Many programs from Stellantis now, especially those under its brand, including Jeep and its massive lineup coming by 2025 alongside Dodge.

The changes still need to be here, but Stellantis already has massive plans for the future that would center on their new advocacy to adhere to what the environment needs in the present. However, while it centers on electrification, it still needs to fully bring what it initially promised to the world, despite already catching its attention with its initial concept.
