Motorola Razr 2023 shows up in a new leak, giving us a glimpse of its massive cover display, making it a serious Samsung Galaxy Z Flip rival if it holds up.
The leak hints that the next-generation Moto Razr will sport the largest cover display in a foldable phone.

Motorola Razr 2023 Leak
The giant phone maker, Motorola, has yet to officially show us how its next Razr foldable phone looks. But despite that, leak renders are doing so as early as now.
While Motorola has been serving us Razr foldable devices, it isn't as successful as the Samsung Z Flip offerings over the years.
In fact, as per a news story by XDA Developers, Moto last debuted a new Razr foldable in 2020. On the other hand, Samsung has been doing so, year after year.

But it looks like Motorola has found a way to make its next-generation Razr a bit more exciting this time around.
Well-known leaker Evan Blass shared leaked renders of the upcoming foldable device of Motorola on Twitter.
XDA Developers notes that the leaked renders of the Razr 2023 suggest that it looks similar to foldable offerings these days, such as the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Oppo Find N2 Flip. These two might find new competition anytime soon, as the Razr seemingly ditches its former look.
Although it looks a lot like newer foldable devices, its cover display definitely stands out from the rest.

Motorola Razr 2023 Full Cover Display
The cover display or external screen of the Motorola Razr 2023 defeats any other current foldable device available on retail shelves right now.
Android Authority reports that the Galaxy Z Flip rocks a cover display that takes half of the front panel. On the flip side, the Razr leaked render shows an external screen that covers the entire front panel of the foldable phone, which spans to its two cameras.
The render also gives us a look at the potential UI of the Moto cover screen. It offers full-sized notifications, while the display beside the two shooters provides smaller notifications and a battery indicator.

It sure looks interesting, but do take this with a grain of salt. Blass may be known for his reputable leaks on all sorts of upcoming tech. Yet, Motorola might decide to change its plans along the way.
While it easily smashes the small cover display of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4, early rumors suggest that the Galaxy Z Flip 5 is getting a bigger external screen as well.
