The highly-anticipated orbital test launch of the famed Stainless Steel spacecraft from SpaceX is coming this March, and the company's executive wants you to watch it, as it is a "must-see." Space fans would not want to miss this opportunity as this vessel may someday be part of the planet's history as the first human transport spacecraft to reach Mars.

It remains unknown what the exact date of the SpaceX Starship's launch would be, but initial claims from its CEO said that it would take place early next month.

SpaceX Executive: Starship Launch is a 'Must-See'

In the recent Space Mobility Conference over at Orlando, Florida (via CNET), SpaceX National Security Space Solutions senior director, Gary Henry, told the attendees that the upcoming Starship launch is a "must-see TV." This March is the scheduled launch of the Starship, and while there would be no television drama set about it, the event would feature the same feel for what it brings.

The teaser seems to engage the public in witnessing the upcoming launch event of SpaceX, with its goal to reach orbit and return to the planet, all while demonstrating what Starship can do.

In another event in Washington, the Commercial Space Transportation Conference, SpaceX President Gwynne Shotwell told the reporters that it is important to take note that it is a test launch.

The executive said its goal is not to "blow up" the launch pad.

SpaceX Starship March Test Launch is Coming

SpaceX's executives may have mixed sentiments about the upcoming Starship launch this March, but one thing is for sure: the confirmed flight test of the company's leading spacecraft.

There are many things that SpaceX needs to keep in mind for this event, as well as its return to the planet. However, should they succeed, it will put them at a significant advancement for their Starship plans and future use.

SpaceX's Starship Spacecraft

It has been long confirmed that SpaceX will attempt to launch the Starship vessel, in its full glory of the full-stack setup with the Super Heavy Booster, which will take place this 2023. The leader and co-founder, Elon Musk, initially claimed that it would take place by late February but never took place this month, but assures everyone that March is the sure date for this event.

The company also went through the process of stacking and de-stacking the Starship and Super Heavy throughout the early days of 2023, as it is preparing for different tests.

The recent static fire launch of the Super Heavy attempted to fire all of its 33 Raptor engines, but not all were successful in doing so.

Despite the setback during its static fire, SpaceX assured the public that it would not see a delay on its March launch and that next month, people may see the Starship flying toward orbit.

For now, massive preparations are happening over at SpaceX's Boca Chica facility for its March launch, with its executives corroborating that the launch will surely happen.
