OPPO debuts the prototype of its revolutionary Zero-Power electronic tags that do not need any batteries to work and bring its users a chance to track the devices that they pair them with. This initiative of "Zero Power Communication" already delivers its first take on the tag tracker that would help in sustainable deliverables in the future.
This device was a year in the making for OPPO after it previously released information on what it aims to bring and deliver to the world, reducing the trash its devices produce in the long run.
OPPO Zero-Power Tag Tracker Now Brings Prototype
An electronic device with no battery is something you would likely consider now, as there are other alternative power sources like solar, kinetic energy, and other forms. However, for something as small as a tag tracker, it seems impossible as it could not hook up to any power source small enough to fit these.
OPPO's latest Zero-Power tracker is now here and proves to be an accumulation of the company's hard work over the past year. Nonetheless, it is important to note that this is still a prototype and is not yet widely available in the consumer market for people to buy.
The company unveiled its prototype at the Mobile World Congress 2023, showcasing its latest innovation for tag trackers.
Still, it is one promising technology that uses wireless connections as its power source instead of relying upon small-cell batteries like what Tile and Apple's AirTags offer.

OPPO's Zero Power Communication Goals
OPPO's Zero Power Communication is the company's initiative to reduce the waste they bring, as well as help with the sustainability of its electronic devices in the future. The company unveiled this last year in its white paper release, detailing how it would make the technology work without batteries.
The company's goal is to develop a new low-cost device, one that would be cheaper to manufacture as well, drawing power from its wireless connections.
OPPO's Technological Developments
There are many tech companies in the world, and among those significant ones is OPPO which managed to penetrate the smartphone market amidst the many competitors in the industry. Their smartphone releases are iconic as it delivers power and performance packed into one device, which is frankly good for their price range and features.
Apart from smartphones, the company also brings smartwatches to the world, the most recent being the OPPO Watch 3, featuring a health, fitness, and lifestyle tracker. The recent smartwatch it brought is the OPPO Watch 3 WeChat edition, which helps secure digital payments and contactless transactions for users.
Of course, there is also the iconic foldable smartphone from OPPO with the latest release that is considered among the top in its league, the Find N2.
Last year's white paper on Zero Power communications was ambitious, and people were mixed with how OPPO will bring these devices, and now, a prototype arrived to prove to the world its innovations.
