BMW reveals its new Panoramic Vision display. The company announced that its new display covers the entire width of the windscreen that will allow drivers and passengers all the information they need without the need to take their eyes off the road, as reported by Engadget.

The headquarters of German carmaker BMW is pictured on March 13, 2023 in Munich, southern Germany. - BMW is set to present last year's results during an annual press conference in Munich on Wednesday, March 15, 2023.

How it Works

The display works like this-the driver can choose what they want to see on the display, such as speed, time, and current song playing. It uses bright, crisp lights to display information against a dark background.

BMW first talked about the new display when it announced the i Vision Dee concept at CES 2023 in January. Back then, the information appeared digitally right onto the windshield, but in contrast, the Panoramic Vision display is a raised lip built-in across the bottom of the windshield.

There are no details yet about the other features shown in the i Vision Dee, such as interactive communication.

The Panoramic Vision display will start rolling out in the first NEUE KLASSE models in 2025. Additional features of the BMW iDrive will also be included in the NEUE KLASSE.

The Panoramic Vision display is a great way for BMW to provide drivers with more information and make their driving experience more interactive. It allows drivers to customize what they want to see on display and helps them stay informed on their journey.

The display also offers a safer alternative to having all the information displayed right on the windshield. With the Panoramic Vision display, drivers will have access to the same information without having to take their eyes off the road.

BMW has always been committed towards creating an optimal driving experience for its customers and this new technology takes another step in achieving just that goal. Introducing the Panoramic Vision Display marks yet another milestone in BMW's commitment towards innovation and safety features within its cars - something other car manufacturers have already begun implementing into their vehicles too!

Innovation in Electric Vehicles

Electric vehicles are the future of transportation and BMW has been at the forefront of this movement. The NEUE KLASSE will be the first model to feature the new Panoramic Vision Display and other features that will help drivers have an even better experience when driving.

The introduction of the display will also help BMW to further improve its electric vehicles by providing drivers with more information about the vehicle's performance and other features.

The electric vehicles of the future will be even more efficient and have more advanced features that will help to reduce emissions and provide a smoother ride.

BMW is committed to providing drivers with the latest technology and features that will improve their experience, and the new Panoramic Vision Display will be a great addition to this.
