Epic Games Store's Two Free Titles on March 23

Game Rant reports that the official gaming marketplace of Epic Games is giving away not one but two games by next week.

Epic Games Store users may start playing "World of Warships - Starter Pack: Ishizuchi" and "Chess Ultra" beginning March 23.

However, it is worth noting that these games are only available for a limited time. These two gaming titles are up for grabs until March 30, giving gamers a couple of days to claim them from the digital storefront.

What is the current free game?

For now, Epic Games is offering "Warhammer 40,000: Gladius - Relics of War'' as its free game for the week.

You may now get your hands on it at the Epic Games Store. But once "Chess Ultra" and "World of Warships" goes live as a freebie, the miniature wargame is set to bid its farewell as a giveaway on the gaming marketplace. The latter will only be available to claim until 10:00 am Central Time (CT) on March 23, in time for the release of two new free gaming titles.

SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA - MARCH 20: Attendees walk by the Epic Games booth at the 2019 GDC Game Developers Conference on March 20, 2019 in San Francisco, California. The GDC runs through March 22.

Initially, the online storefront only offered freebies every two weeks. Eventually, the "Fortnite" publisher began dishing out a free game every week starting in June 2019. And since then, the weekly tradition carried on.

Epic Games recently confirmed that the free weekly game tradition is set to continue this 2023, Comicbook.com reports. It was a relief for gamers worried that the giveaways would end this year. After all, they could check out new games every week without spending a dollar.

The gaming firm announced that its "weekly Free Games Program will continue in 2023!"

And as such, the free games continued to arrive every week on the Epic Games Store, allowing its players to keep their giveaways in their libraries once they have claimed them. So its users still have a couple of games to look forward to this year.

For the meantime, you may check out "Warhammer 40,000: Gladius - Relics of War" before it gets replaced by two new titles on the Epic Games Store.
