The latest "Resident Evil 4" Remake is seeing a good review on Metacritic now, especially for the PlayStation 5 platform which is ironic, as this version is not yet available for the public. The PS5 version of the famous cult classic title from the franchise riled up the gaming community as they anticipated the game's release after almost two decades. 

CAPCOM's iconic action-shooter game centering on the famous characters of the franchise is getting a revisit in this remake, focusing on the iconic Leon S. Kennedy as he ventures through the fallen city and world overtaken by the virus.

The Metacritic review for the "Resident Evil 4" Remake is out now for the world to see, and it sees a 93 Metacritic score on the website, with gamers ranking the PS5 version the highest. This is despite the game not yet being released to the public, as CAPCOM will make it available for gamers to download or grab its physical copy by next week, March 24. 

According to the reviews, this remake of the cult-classic game sees critical acclaim from gamers, similar to what the original release of the game received when it first arrived in 2005. 

ComicBook Gaming regarded that it sits third in the top ranks for remastered games, with "Metroid Prime Remastered" and "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt-Complete Edition" claiming the top spot with a 94 Metacritic score.

How About 'RE4' Remake's Metacritic for PC?

Other platforms where the "Resident Evil 4" Remake is set to arrive to includes the PC, Xbox Series X, PS4, and Xbox One. 

For the PC platform, the latest remake game received a 92 on Metacritic, while on the Xbox Series X, gamers gave it a 91 Metacritic Score

Still, the game is not yet here, and this may change soon as it will be made available for gamers to re-experience.

CAPCOM and the 'Resident Evil' Franchise

The "Resident Evil" Showcase took place last year and it announced CAPCOM's latest plans for the franchise, including the continuation of its current-gen platform remake for "Resident Evil 4." The company also revealed its development for the upcoming experiences, including the "Resident Evill Village's" Gold Edition which brings a special extended version. 

Plans for the "Resident Evil 4" Remake center on a better experience for the game, and CAPCOM aims to add more horror to its existing storyline and plot, one where it would take gamers on a different feel compared to the past.

Many are looking forward to this remake as the fourth game in the franchise is one of the top regarded, also centering on the fan-favorite character of Leon S. Kennedy. 

"Resident Evil 4" Remake is coming next week, and while it may feel like a long wait, but it is finally coming soon in a few more days of holding out for the title. These good early reviews on Metacritic are an indication that there is a lot t look forward to on this new remake, with CAPCOM outdoing itself for porting it for the current-gen platforms, bringing the cult-classic title.
