Lenovo recently unveiled its new LOQ sub-brand of gaming laptops, which are geared to offer new gamers an affordable entry point into gaming.

These new Lenovo LOQ laptops (pronounced as "lock"), which come in 15-inch and 16-inch sizes, feature 13th Gen Intel Core or AMD Ryzen 7000 Series CPUs and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 Series GPUs.

Lenovo LOQ line-up includes the Intel-based Lenovo LOQ 16IRH8 and Lenovo LOQ 15IRH8 laptops and the AMD-based Lenovo LOQ 16APH8 and Lenovo LOQ 15APH8 models.

Specs

As can be seen, laptops in the Lenovo LOQ family support up to 16GB of DDR5 RAM, NVIDIA GPUs, and both Intel and AMD Processors.

The laptops also have a full-sized trademark Lenovo gaming keyboard with optional 4-zone RGB backlighting, as well as an inbuilt Lenovo LA AI Chip that enables Lenovo AI Engine+ to maximize in-game framerates.

The laptops are powered by Windows 11 and feature up to a 13th Gen Intel Core or AMD Ryzen 7000 Series CPU and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 Series GPU.

The MUX switch feature on the laptops allows the NVIDIA graphics card to interface directly with the display, resulting in faster frame rates and lower latency.

Up to four heat pipes, dual 85mm 12V high-speed fans, and extra-large air intakes and outlets totaling up to 135W TDP keep the laptops cool.

Lenovo LOQ laptops offer up to 16GB 5600MHz DDR5 Memory and up to 32GB storage, as well as a 1TB PCIe SSD.

Those are some seriously good features, but wait until you see the price of the laptops.

Pricing

Looking for gaming laptops under $500 is fine, but not ideal. On average, decent gaming laptops cost between $700 and $1000. But, we all know that competitive gaming takes more than average performance. Lenovo's laptop series offers the best specs for the most affordable prices.

Lenovo LOQ laptops are reasonably priced, with prices ranging from $1,099 for the Lenovo LOQ 15APH8 to $1,599 for the Lenovo LOQ 16IRH8.

This is already a remarkable value given that all Lenovo LOQ laptops include two RAM slots and two PCIe slots for future storage and memory expansion.

The 16-inch Lenovo LOQ gaming laptops include an 80Whr battery with up to 7 hours of battery life and support Super Rapid Charge Pro for faster charging and longer battery life while on the go.

Meanwhile, the 15-inch Lenovo LOQ laptops include a 60Whr battery that provides up to 6 hours of battery life and supports Super Rapid Charge.

More Perks

All Lenovo LOQ devices include Windows 11 as well as three months of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, allowing new gamers to set up their new computers and begin gaming quickly.

Users may keep all of their favorite games from various gaming platforms in one central library for simple access and rapid launches using Lenovo's Legion Arena app.
