Elon Musk's EV maker, Tesla, introduced Gigabier, a Cybertruck-inspired limited edition pilsner beer.

Tesla, which brought us all-electric cars like the Model 3 and the Model S, continues to sell alcoholic drinks. This time, it launched a pilsner-style beer on its website, allowing its customers to quench their thirst.

Tesla Gigabier Launches

The Elon Musk-led EV maker has yet to release its first-ever electric pickup truck, the Cybertruck. Tesla fans have been patiently anticipating the upcoming EV, which rocks a sleek and futuristic design that seems like it came straight from a science fiction (sci-fi) movie.

However, the carmaker continues to hype everyone with the upcoming Cybertruck. According to Electrek, the EV maker now offers a beer that resembles the futuristic look of its all-electric pickup truck.

It is not the real deal, but the Gigabier gives the same sleek vibes that the long-delayed Cybertruck offers.

The big boss of Tesla previously teased that Tesla is planning to make its own beer, Electrek reports.

The limited edition beer is now available on the Tesla website. Before visitors of the site could access the Gigabier listing, it asks users if they are at least 18 years old. After all, it is an alcoholic drink.

Based on the Cybertruck

The website listing says the Gigabier is "designed to emulate the form of Cybertruck ." So it looks futuristic compared to other traditional beers out there.

Tesla co-founder and CEO Elon Musk verbally reacts in front of the newly unveiled all-electric battery-powered Tesla Cybertruck with broken glass on windows following a demonstation that did not go as planned on November 21, 2019 at Tesla Design Center in Hawthorne, California.

To be frank, the bottle does not seem like an alcoholic beverage. Sure, it resembles the Cybertruck. It seems like it is the top view of the electric truck.

The Gigabier bottle actually "features a seamless gloss black sleeve with a glow-in-the-dark Giga watermark."

At the same time, the giant EV maker says it pays honor to "the 500-year tradition of German Reinheitsgebot beer making."

It turns out that the Tesla beer was brewed in Berlin. The listing gives us an idea of its flavor. So it is not all about the design of the bottle, after all. It has "notes of citrus, bergamot, and sweet fruit," according to the website of the carmaker.

The GigaBier is only available in packs of three. So if you only want a single bottle, you will have to look elsewhere. Or better yet, ask your friends if they are interested to try it out as well.

The pack of three sells for €89. So a single bottle is roughly $30. It is a bit overpriced compared to pilsner-style beers in the market. But do note that it is a limited-edition release.

A Tesla Tequila previously sold for $250 a bottle.
