The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is the final game in the trilogy developed by CD Projekt Red. The game will make its way to the PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One before the end of the year, but it appears things won't go smoothly.

Not long ago CD Projekt held an event where players got the chance to preview The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. The developer, unlike many others, did not hide what is truly going on behind the scenes, which is the reason why we can say for certain right now that the PlayStation 4 version of the game is coming along fine when compared to the Xbox One version.

Don't get it twisted; the Xbox One version looks great, but the PlayStation 4 version looks better. This is because it is running at full 1080p while the version on the Xbox One is only pushing 900p. This result to blurry textures, but at least both versions run at the same 30fps.

As expected, the PC version looks superb and is far superior when compared to the consoles. PC gamers with powerful systems should have a great time with The Witcher 3 when it comes out on May 19, 2015, because the game looks out of this world.

According to German publication, Gamestar, the Xbox One version of The Witcher 3 might get an upgrade to 1080p, but CD Projekt Red isn't promising anything at the moment. We're guessing that the developer might use the new performance given by the latest SDK update.

We can't be certain if the developer will be able to take advantage of the new SDK update since it should only benefit games that are CPU focused, and we are not certain the style of development used to create The Witcher 3.

The game won't come out until another 4 months, so we expect CD Projekt Red to iron out most of the problems before then. However, when it comes down to upping the resolution of the Xbox One version, we believe it is going to be a difficult process, and fans should not get their hopes up, as a solid 30fps is more important than 1080p.
