The Pokemon Company is preparing to remove the original "Pokemon Trading Card Game Online" from its official website, Google Play Store, and Apple App Store starting next month.

By June 5, we won't be able to play the original TGC which was first launched in 2022. Instead, a whole new title will be released, and it will be called "Pokemon Trading Card Game Live."

The global debut of the upcoming digital card game will be on June 8, just three days before its predecessor's sunsets.

You're doing an Insta-switch to "Pokemon Trading Card Game Live" as the previous game bids goodbye to the scene.

According to a report by Nintendo Life, TCG Online players are allowed to migrate their account to the new game after its impending shutdown a month from now.

This is the only way to continue your progress in the game if you wish to play the new "Pokemon Trading Card Game Live" at a comfortable pace.

Since November 2022, TPC has placed "Pokemon Trading Card Game Live" in beta, according to Kotaku's report. If you have already made up your mind about a new adventure, you might think that there are adjustments to be made here, which is true.

The transition can be quite rough at first since the company already removed the new packs and cards from "Online" a few months ago.

It should be noted that the trading cards from the newest mainline game, "Pokemon Scarlet and Violet," will be supported in Live.

Just like the old TCG installment, you can enjoy climbing to the ranks via Versus Ladder. Before it officially closes in June, TPC made sure that the bugs are already fixed for those who want to play this game for one last time.

'Pokemon TCG Scarlet and Violet' Featuring 3 Fan Favorites

According to the official website of Pokemon, the newest deck featuring the Paldean Pokedex has hooked up many fans to see what's in store with some fan-favorite creatures.

Some of them include Oinkologne ex, Arcanine ex, and Dondozo. Dondozo is a newcomer in the Pokemon game, and it has become a trend in VGC. It is often paired with Tatsugiri thanks to the latter's Commander ability.

Outside "Pokemon Scarlet and Violet," Dondozo excels in its Release Rage, which deals 50 damage to the opponent for each discarded Tatsugiri.

You can use Professor's Research and Serena as support cards to set up Tatsugiri for a disaster that's bound to happen.

Arcanine, the mythical-looking canine from Kanto, boasts its Bright Flame, which deals 250 damage, but it will require three Fire Energy.

The standard Arcanine ex deck is composed of Arcanine ex 32/198, 3 Swablu GG27, 2 Altaria GG19, 4 Growlite 31/198, 1 Moltres SWSH185, 1 Radiant Charizard 20/159, and 1 Skwovet 222/198.

Meanwhile, Oinkologne ex has a Maddening Scent, which deals 10+30 more damage for each Pokemon sitting on your enemy's bench. It also has a Heavy Stomp, which can inflict 210 damage at the cost of a flip coin.
