The release of the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One version of "Hogwarts Legacy" is opening up the game once again to be one of the top on the streaming charts and consoles of every fan of the title. Now, it is offering a new collaboration with a famed "Harry Potter" movie franchise actor who will soon join Avalanche Software for an unknown outing for the fans.

Its latest teaser brings a significant arrival of a former actor of the franchise, and this is with one that was known to be a menace for The Boy Who Lived but turned out to be an ally towards the end.

'Hogwarts Legacy' Brings a Surprise 'Harry Potter' Character for a Collab

A new video teaser surfaced online, showing another special treat for Hogwarts Legacy fans and gamers to look forward to, and it is something from Avalanche Software. The video shows a silhouette figure at first, Sebastian Sallow, the game's trusty Slytherin friend, who says his lines in welcoming the new student, and the teaser reveals Tom Felton saying "Hello, Sebastian."

It is widely known that Felton is famous for his on-screen portrayal of Harry Potter's frenemy, Draco Malfoy, who throughout the titular character's schooling, proved to be a pain to his life in the castle.

Later on, Malfoy was also one to turn against Voldemort after Potter saved him after a Fire Curse, Fiendfyre, backfired on the one that conjured it, Vincent Crabbe, a known crony of Draco.

Tune in to Avalanche Software's 'Into the Shadows' by May 9

Towards the end of the teaser, it was said that Hogwarts Legacy would have a special event called "Into the Shadows with Tom Felton," and while it is not clear what he would do come May 9, it was said to be an insider interview and gameplay with the Draco Malfoy actor (via ComicBook Gaming).

With Felton's teaser, there are wild theories that Malfoy would be a DLC to Hogwarts Legacy, but is not a sure thing yet, especially as Draco's time in Hogwarts is several decades away from the game's timeline.

Avalanche asks fans and gamers to tune in to the event come Tuesday, May 9, to see more of the game and Tom Felton.

The 'Hogwarts Legacy' Franchise

In an unprecedented success for Avalanche Software, WB Games, Portkey Games, and the Wizarding World's latest action RPG and open-world game, "Hogwarts Legacy," there are massive plans in place for its future. At first, gamers were speculating that this would only be a one-time release, one that would bring a prequel to the Harry Potter story, but WB Games claimed it would be a franchise with sequel game(s) that would come in the future.

While Hogwarts Legacy did not exactly receive a purely positive response from the gaming industry, it is still one highly-regarded release that brings the famed Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry to fans.

Moreover, it allows gamers to live their life as a student in the renowned school, allowing them to experience the magic and all other things which Harry Potter also experienced during his time.

Many have enjoyed what Hogwarts Legacy has offered the world, and it gave a unique view into ancient magic and facing an unknown threat that aims to destroy wizardkind as we know of, during the early times. That being said, the arrival of Tom Felton, the beloved actor for Draco Malfoy, is one to look forward to, with fans of the game and movie promised to have a blast by Tuesday, May 9.
