Apple continues to expand its online store as it prepares to open another one in Vietnam. The first ever online Apple Store will serve more customers across the country and it's even available in English.
Apple to Open First-Ever Online Store in Vietnam
Vietnamese customers can soon visit Apple's online store in the country which will net them free delivery and more perks.
For the past years, Apple saw that its online stores did not fare well in other countries such as China. The company noticed the declining sales in the once in-demand market in the world.
The Cupertino tech giant is all set to open the first online store in Vietnam on May 18, according to Reuters on Friday, May 12.
According to Apple CEO Tim Cook, the firm aims to reach out to more customers from some parts of the world who might be interested in purchasing their products.
As such, the tech boss notes that since emerging markets are on the right track, younger users might be enticed to buy iPhones and other Apple gadgets.
"We're proud to be expanding in Vietnam, and excited to bring our exceptional care and support to customers with the launch of the Apple Store online. With the online store, customers in Vietnam can now discover many of our great product lines and services, connect with experienced experts, as well as experience Apple's quintessence more than ever before," Senior Vice President of Apple Retail Deirdre O'Brien said in a translated statement.

Can We Soon See a Physical Apple Store in Vietnam?
With the promising expansion of its stores outside the Americas, Apple sees the opportunity to serve the "under-served" places. Maybe this is Apple's way to introduce the branding to areas with limited access to online stores.
At the moment, Apple has not yet finalized its plans to open a brick-and-mortar store in Vietnam. According to Engadget, it's still not in Apple's book but who knows when it will happen.

Apple Store in India
Back in April 2023, Tech Times showed us a glimpse of how the first flagship Apple Store in India looks at first glance. According to the source, the retail store boasts the iconic Kaali Peeli taxi art which is famous among people in the country.
The report also says that the store features an all-white exterior paint, not to mention the obvious Apple logo. At that time, you will see a note bearing a "arriving soon" message which suggests its launch date.
Apple expects to open more stores outside Mumbai in the next few months to come.
