The latest "League of Legends" Patch 13.10 brings back the iconic Statikk Shiv item.

If you are a long-time "LoL" player, then you already know that Statikk Shiv can really benefit ADR (attack damage range) characters; and even some assassins.

However, Riot Games removed this beloved in-game weapon back in 2021.

Many fans were shocked by the game developer's decision. Riot Games explained that Statikk

Shiv was removed because it was lagging behind as a wave clear option.

Now, the title creator finally decided to revive this iconic crit item.

Statikk Shiv is Back in "League of Legends"!

According to Riot Games' official blog post, Statikk Shiv is finally back in the Summoner's Rift.
"Statikk Shiv is back!!!!!! Shiv is meant to be the premier wave-clear item for crit users," explained Riot Games.

The online game publisher added that Statikk Shiv will still have the same game mechanics; bouncing hits between 6-12 targets.

However, Riot Games decided to change the icon for the Statikk Shiv. Instead of sticking to the original blade with yellow lightning, the game developer designed Shiv's icon as a blue thunder (much like the thunder used by Zeus).

To give you more idea, here are the specific details of the new Statikk Shiv:

  • Item Recipe: Noonquiver + Cloak of Agility + Kircheis Shard + 400 Gold
  • Total Cost: 3000
  • Critical Strike Chance: 20%
  • Attack Speed: 25%
  • Attack Damage: 45
  • Unique Passive: Fires an energized attack that applies 60-170 plus 50% of AP bonus damage. Can target enemies within 600 range; deals 120% bonus damage to minions.

'LoL' Crit Items Adjustments

Aside from reviving the Statikk Shiv, Forbes reported that the new "LoL" Patch 13.10 also adjusted and enhanced other critical items.

Riot Games said that since Galeforce, Rageblade, Quickblades, and Infinity Edge are more like mythic items, they will be included in that category.

This means that retuning and demoting will be conducted among critical weapons. One of the major changes the company did is removing the true damage of the Kraken Slayer.
