With the newest patch that rolled out for "The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom," players who duplicate their items or weapons can no longer resort to this exploit.

At the start of the launch of "Zelda: TOTK" a few weeks ago, many players immediately noticed that Nintendo had not yet polished the game. It's even more evident with the existence of bugs that crash the game, but if they are working, it's definitely an exploit that everyone wants to abuse.

The latest Zelda installment appears to have an infamous glitch where players can easily progress through the game by duplicating their swords, shields, and other materials. Although it's not a deal-breaker for some gamers, some think that it's unfair to finish the game by merely depending on this bug.

According to Wccftech, version 1.1.2 for the "Tears of the Kingdom" has completely shattered the hopes of the gamers who rely on this exploit. Because of the recent software update, they could no longer use this glitch.

Prior to this version, Redditors and other players from different gaming communities are sharing their tactics on how to effectively duplicate the items without farming them. At that time, some Zelda fans utilized inventory switching to gain diamonds and other expensive items. Some are using shield hopping, while others rely on the use of the paraglider.
