Jason Momoa dropped a bombshell recently, and we love it. Surely what he had to say will cause a lot of problems among the DC die-hards, but such a change is needed for film.

What are we talking about exactly? Well, Jason Momoa attended the Sundance Film Festival alongside Margot Robbie, and he was all up for answering questions.

During the chit chat, Momoa was asked what fans should expect from his version of Aquaman, and whether or not it will be similar to the comics. As expected, Momoa's take on the Atlantean king differs from the comics, but we are guessing it is not by much.

"Well, things are going to be a little different," Momoa said. "When I first went in I met with Zack (Snyder). His idea is pretty amazing. When I went in, he told me... my jaw kind of dropped. My jaw doesn't normally drop. What he has planned for the DC world and for, definitely for Aquaman is something that, you know... I think I was brought on for a certain reason and they got some really cool plans for him; I'm really excited for everyone to see it."

Zack Snyder has big plans for the world of DC indeed, and we would love to know what is going on behind the scenes. There are several rumors circling the web about his plans, but at the moment, it is difficult to tell which is true from which is not.

What about Aquaman's iconic blonde hair?

Well, the question was put forward to Momoa, and his answer was clear as day. Aquaman will not be sporting blonde hair, and we are all up for it because we doubt Momoa would look the part if he should go blonde. He also made it clear that it will not be a white character, so from all indications, Momoa's black hair could be the only option right now.

When it comes down to Aquaman featuring in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, we are beginning to believe that this is not the case. Apparently, the actor was asked a year ago to keep him being Aquaman a secret for three years; fortunately, those plans failed.
