Apple also said that there are two special sessions for the celebration of the retail store's opening.

If you're already familiar with the popular album cover of Pink Floyd dubbed "Animals," the art features a seemingly familiar place located in the UK. The Battersea was once a hot spot for tourists but after many years, it was left in vain.

Now, Apple will try to revive the once-dead place in the country as it braces for the opening of the store in the region. According to Apple Insider, the exact spot where the UK headquarters is located in the same place where the new Apple retail store will rise.

The UK does not want to entirely demolish the area since it still wants to preserve its structure. Opening a new brick-and-mortar shop will serve as part of its redevelopment which was in line with the UK agreement.

The Cupertino giant looks forward to this promising expansion after opening an Apple Store online in Vietnam back in May. A month before that happened, the iPhone maker unveiled the first flagship store in India, which was located in Mumbai.

So far, the Apple Battersea facility already has a UK website. According to the page, it will open two weeks from now, particularly on Thursday, June 15.

If you're currently living or just visiting the UK, you can explore the building at Ground Floor Turbine Hall A, Circus Road W, London SW11 8AL.

"Our brand-new London store at the iconic Battersea Power Station is almost ready to explore. We can't wait to welcome you and help you build your ideas," Apple wrote on the website.
