The recent advancements in language models like GPT-4 and GPT-3.5-turbo include a notable feature called "function calling."  According to OpenAI's blog post, this feature allows users to describe programming functions to the model, which can then generate code to execute those functions.

For instance, you can request the weather in Boston, and the model will follow a specific process outlined in OpenAI's blog post to provide an answer.

Of course, it's worth mentioning that searching for the weather in Boston or any other location on a search engine like Google is also a convenient option.

Additionally, GPT-3.5-turbo has received an improvement in its "context window." This means that the model can now refer to a larger portion of the preceding conversation, enabling it to generate more contextually relevant answers without forgetting important details.

It's important to note that the advanced version of GPT-3.5-turbo comes at a higher cost, twice as much as the standard version. However, as a positive development, the price of the vanilla version has been reduced by 25 percent, per Mashable.

These updates represent the ongoing efforts to enhance language models such as GPT-3.5-turbo, allowing them to provide more accurate and context-aware responses.
