Overwatch 2 on Steam
Blizzard has exciting news for gamers as some of their beloved titles are heading to Steam. According to a report from Engadget, the company recently announced its intention to make a selection of its PC games available on the popular storefront.
The first game to make its way to Steam from Blizzard's collection will be Overwatch 2, and players can look forward to its release on August 10th. This timing aligns perfectly with the Overwatch 2: Invasion event, which introduces highly anticipated PvE story missions, a new core PvP game mode with two new maps, and a new hero.
Steam users or Steamers will need to link their Overwatch 2 game to a Battle.net account. However, once connected, they can enjoy all the conveniences that Steam offers, including access to their friends list and achievements. Valve President Gabe Newell believes that this move will benefit gamers and developers.
