Under Musk's direction, the blue Larry the Bird emblem, which has been associated with Twitter since 2006, has undergone considerable changes. The planned modification to the logo could be the most significant one yet.

Thousands of users enthusiastically and creatively replied to Musk's post with design ideas for the planned "X" logo. Musk promised that if a convincing "X" logo was presented by the end of the day, he would speed up the procedure and execute the modification globally.

An increase in artistic "X" logo submissions on Twitter increased interest in the new brand. Elon Musk posted a little animation of an "X" with an entrancing flashing background to add to the excitement.

In April, Twitter replaced Larry the Bird with a Shibu Inu dog as part of an experiment with alternative logos. This little modification demonstrated the platform's openness to experimenting with alternative visual identities.

After a merger, Twitter was renamed "X Corp" in an email, but Musk said the company would keep its original name. The "X" design may signify a new chapter for Twitter while keeping its history intact.
