Boston Pizza is teaming up with Nintendo to offer something a little more colorful and fun for their kids' menu. This comes as the Canadian restaurant will be adding some of the iconic characters to its offerings.
Boston Pizza Restaurant Chain in Canada Partners with Nintendo to Bring Mario and Friends
According to the story by Pizza Market Place, Boston Pizza, a pizza restaurant in Canada, will be collaborating with Nintendo in order to provide an immersive pizza experience for fans. As described, this would include next-level activities and even gameplay.
It was announced that through the partnership, Mario and friends, some of the most popular Nintendo characters, will be taking over the Boston Pizza's kids' menu. It was noted that the partnership would allow them to bring activities and games as well.
An Event Will be Held at Select Boston Pizza Locations Which Allows Diners to Order a Nintendo Switch
The popular Canadian pizza brand would reportedly be hosting Nintendo Switch Fun Sundays in order for diners to get a better experience at select Boston Pizza locations. The weekly events would see the restaurant portion a part of the dining room in order for guests to have the option to order a Nintendo Switch to their table.
This would allow visitors to get a more immersive dining experience as the kids would be able to play with the Nintendo Switch while eating pizza. Susan Pennefather, Nintendo of Canada general manager, gave a statement in a press release regarding the addition.
The Unique Gaming Experience Would Give Prizes to Select Winners Including a New Nintendo Switch Itself
Pennefather highlighted how they were thrilled to be able to bring a community of characters as well as family-friendly gaming experiences to guests of Boston Pizza throughout the country. It was also highlighted that the unique partnership is something they look forward to.
They noted they hoped that the partnership would then result in the creation of shared memories as well as providing smiles to people's faces. Boston Pizza is also expected to give away 30 prize packs, which even include a Nintendo Switch itself.

The Draw for the Winner Will Happen on November 1 While the Event Will Run Until October 31
It was also reported that the prizes would include two select Mario Games while 20 more winners would be getting different types of Nintendo merchandise. However, the events are not permanent and are only expected to run through October 31.
Nintendo announced that the dining experience would be offered at select locations in places around Quebec, Alberta, British Columbia, and Ontario. The company also announced that the winners of the contest would be drawn on November 1, after the end of the event.
According to Food Gressing, it was noted that the dining experience would be a first come, first served basis as to how diners would be able to borrow a Nintendo Switch system. This could provide a unique experience for families that do not have the portable console at home and struggle to purchase one.
