Just before the start of the holiday season, Microsoft announced its special bundle pricing for the Xbox One. It included a brand new console and controller, along with an Assassin's Creed Unity download token and an Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag download token.
Most retailers such as Best Buy, Walmart and Amazon offered the bundle for a low discounted price of $349 on Black Friday, and through the holiday season. To sweeten the deal, many of them had special sales which included $50 gift cards when purchasing the bundle for $349. Target had the best Black Friday deal of all and offered the bundle at just $329 with a $50 gift card.
The holiday pricing was so successful that Xbox One beat out PS4 in sales for both November and December 2014. Once the holidays were over, however, Microsoft announced the special pricing was done as well, and jacked the cost back up to $399. That elicited groans from consumers, so much so that they quickly reversed course and knocked the price back down to $349, which is what the bundle now sells for at major retailers.
But right now with a special limited time offer via Groupon, you can purchase the Xbox One Assassin's Creed Unity Bundle discount deal for the low price of just $314.99. Just go to the Groupon page where they offer the bundle at $349 and enter coupon code TRIPLE. That will take 10 percent off the price and lower it to just $314.99. Although some of the gift card deals over the holidays reduced the effective price to less, you still had to shell out more and use the gift card to buy something else at that store.
