The latest added Dark Rituals Bundle III in "Call of Duty: Warzone 2" is controversial, as its developers allegedly brought a gun attachment as another "pay-to-win" item.

Previously, Call of Duty and Warzone has seen significant backlash from the public because these kinds of items or features give players an upper hand.

Generally, pay-to-win games or items are frowned upon in the gaming industry as it gives an unfair advantage to those playing with only what the game rewards them.

Call of Duty: Warzone 2's New Attachment Is Pay-to-Win

CharlieINTEL, the famed Call of Duty leaker, spotted a new bundle in "Call of Duty: Warzone 2," which brings a pay-to-win item.

It is a new holo-thermal sight attachment that gamers may unlock when buying the Dark Rituals Bundle III. It provides the ability to see enemies better, even when fog obscures them.

Part of Call of Duty's gameplay is getting the upper hand against enemies with available Tactical and Lethal items, including the smoke grenade.

However, with this new thermal sight, gamers would have a better view of their opponents, who are walking or hiding behind the fog, giving them better opportunities to go for the kill.

Call of Duty: Warzone 2's Dark Rituals Bundle III

According to CODMWStore, the new Dark Rituals Bundle III is part of Warzone and Modern Warfare 2's Tracer Pack which also brings a special new look for Ghost, now with reddish tones.

Additionally, it also comes with three weapon builds for gamers, including the "To Dust" FR Advancer Blueprint, "Death's Door" Cronen Squall Blueprint, and the "Necrotic" FJ Imperium.

Paired with the Cronen Squall is the new thermal sight scope which was regarded as a pay-to-win attachment. It also brings a frag grenade skin, an emblem, a new Dark Rituals-themed Loading screen, and 1-hour Double XP and Double Weapon XP consumables.

'Call of Duty: Warzone 2'

"Call of Duty: Warzone 2" remains a free game from Activision Blizzard, which mainly offers online experiences for the gaming industry, playing in battle royale gaming modes or other team matches.

However, the gaming industry has seen a lot of negativity about Warzone 2, resulting in its player count declining several months after its release. There is still a massive issue regarding Warzone 2's updates, as it includes several bundles and items that promote pay-to-win experiences for the public.

Previously, the team released a player skin that features a DMZ Effect perk where they carry a dedicated Self-Revive Kit upon infill in the battle island, unlike others who have to go scouring for it.

Raven Software and Activision Blizzard may be releasing a free game for everyone to enjoy. However, the bundles and in-game shop offer several extra purchases that give additional perks to those with money.

With the new Dark Rituals Bundle III, gamers can use the latest SZ Holotherm to successfully eliminate enemies despite an obscured sight.
