Blizzard is adding an update to Diablo III which was released 11 years ago. The new update would allow players to venture into the game through a whole new approach.

Blizzard is Launching a Solo Mode for Diablo III 11 Years After Its Release

According to the story by The Verge, developers from Blizzard are saying that the solo self-found mode of Diablo III would really test players and will even "temper them." With that, the company has already started testing the feature and fans are expected to get it soon.

Blizzard announced that the single-player mode for Diablo III is being tested as the game gets its very own leaderboard. Aside from that, players will also be able to try out the title in the dreaded hardcore version, which the dev team says will be a challenge for players.

The New Mode Comes as Part of the New Patch 2.7.6 PTR Which Surpasses the Game's 29th and Final New Season

Those excited about the update would be able to try it out upon the release of the game's new Patch 2.7.6 PTR, which is said to be the newest test build of the title. The patch reportedly surpasses the game's 29th and final new season.

The major reason why players can consider the new mode extremely challenging is that they won't be able to get any experience bonuses from the game's dungeons with the help of other players. In addition, players won't even be able to trade with each other, making it extremely hard to progress.

How to Use the Solo Mode in Diablo III

In order to try the version out, players simply need to select "Solo Hero" upon their character creation and start the campaign. Players can also do this in Adventure Mode as a way to try and beat the game without any assistance at all.

The new season will get the name Visions of Enmity, which is expected to come with new additions to the title. These include players having to go up against new demons through the Diabolical Fissues.

Players can Also Expect Additional Updates from Blizzard as Part of the Update

These demons will be spawned out of the Sanctuary, where the players need to kill the enemies inside the vision. For players who don't mind the darkness and battling demons alone, this version is perfect since it allows players to go through the journey alone.

Aside from the addition of the single-player mode, Blizzard's new patch is also coming out with some other updates. This includes increasing the Paragon Points usable from 50 to 200 for every attribute.

All of the four categories get a boost and their limitations would finally become 200 points, giving players more wiggle room to explore, conquer, and upgrade their characters. It was noted that the test will happen from August 15 to 29 and participants can still join via the public test.
