Nintendo has released the first update of "Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom" in nearly two months.

Nintendo has addressed some issues in TOTK. The recent patch might just be a minor update yet it hit some pain points that users struggle to deal with.

According to Dot Esports, patch 1.2.0 has introduced some improvements to the gameplay to make it smoother. Nintendo highlights three known issues in the game.

The most prioritized concern is the flickering screen which is triggered when a player places a lot of maps on the map. It's quite fine for those who are not photosensitive, but still, it's disturbing. However, for light-sensitive gamers, it's a nuisance that should be fixed as soon as possible.

Nintendo also fixed the second issue where "Zelda" players can't loot any items in the treasure chest if they are attached to Flux Constructs.

TOTK gamers can't enjoy looting because if the Flux Construct is in attack mode, all of the treasure chests will instantly disappear.

Fortunately, the latest patch has already solved the problem. For those who haven't gotten their loot, you can reload your save file and search for the missing chest on the map or inventory.

Finally, the third issue tackles a problem where an event will stop if the player talks to Koltin after collecting Bubbul Gems. This is not just annoying, but it won't let you get past the next point. Thankfully, downloading the patch will trigger the event.
