With the education sector rapidly evolving thanks to the advent of various digital tools and services, one platform that has been at the helm of this revolution from the start is TinyTap, a social ecosystem empowering teachers, students, and parents to learn from each other by creating their own personalized learning apps and games.

TinyTap is backed by leading software and venture capital firm Animoca Brands. Over the past decade, it has pioneered a range of high-quality digital learning tools that have helped shape the virtual learning landscape. As part of its most recent suite of offerings, TinyTap has incorporated various AI functionalities into its framework. As a live demo shows, using its 'Prompt to Game' feature, users can input a subject of their choice into the system, only for them to be provided with a game that can help them master the particular topic or subject.

The module harnesses the power of TinyTap's vast data library that contains a number of apps, games, and activities. Not only that, the AI also analyzes user engagement in real time while comprehending student learning patterns, allowing for the creation of highly personalized, curated content.

This is a significant step forward for the sector (especially sub-domains like 'adaptive learning') since it allows for the synthesis of educational data as per the needs and learning capacities of different children. Moreover, by utilizing AI, TinyTap offers a unique opportunity for educators to focus on more complex aspects of teaching, such as emotional intelligence and critical thinking skills, while the AI handles more routine tasks.

Venture into the world of Web3

In addition to its aforementioned AI integration efforts, TinyTap is also rapidly making inroads into the world of blockchain technology. This is, in large part, due to its strategic partnership with Open Campus, a Web3-based, decentralized education protocol. By the end of Q4 2023, Tinytap users will be able to employ the power of Open Campus' signature offering 'Publisher NFTs,' allowing them to mint their propriety data in the form of non-fungible tokens (NFTs), which can later be sold/resold on the open market.

One of the key advantages of this setup is that it not only helps foster a more fair, transparent education system but also allows content creators to maintain control over their intellectual property (IP). Not only that, it also has the potential to enhance the quality of study material being disseminated online since educators putting out the best work are provided with lucrative financial incentives.

Moreover, the use of a blockchain framework makes it possible to maintain student/teacher credentials and records on an immutable, tamper-proof ledger. As a result, institutions all over the world can access an individual's records without having to worry about their degrees being fake, certificates being fraudulent, etc.

Tools for the future

Over the coming 12-18 months, TinyTap is preparing to release a set of novel features - such as its 'Practice Anywhere' module - allowing parents and educators to transform varying digital media, ranging from YouTube videos to simple online text, into engaging apps and games. The feature can revamp remote and distance learning, especially helping those students who do not have access to a classroom setting.

With over 10 million registered users and a community of 100,000 educators, TinyTap has been a key player in the tech industry for more than a decade now. And, with the integration of novel AI features and the formation of key strategic partnerships with prominent market entities like Open Campus, it stands to reason that, moving forward, ed-tech platforms will continue to harness the power of future-ready technologies such as machine learning (ML), deep learning, blockchain and much more.
