For the first time, Chuck E. Cheese's beloved characters will step into the virtual realm of Roblox, thanks to a strategic alliance with Toikido. 

Piñata Smashlings, a game co-created by Supersocial and Toikido, will be the exciting intersection between Chuck E. Cheese's iconic characters and the digital universe. 

Scheduled to commence in October and run through the end of the year, VentureBeat reports that the fully integrated campaign will also take place in Chuck E. Cheese fun centers throughout the United States and Canada. 

Collect Chuck E. Cheese Characters in Roblox

One of the most exciting aspects of this partnership is that players will gain exclusive access to collect Chuck E. Cheese characters within the new Piñata Smashlings Roblox game. 

This unique crossover is set to create a buzz among young gamers and Chuck E. Cheese enthusiasts alike.

Darran Garnham, CEO of Toikido, expressed his enthusiasm, saying, "Chuck E. Cheese is a favorite destination for kids across the U.S. and Canada - and a fantastic partner for Piñata Smashlings. Diving into the Piñataverse

The collaboration will enable players of the Piñata Smashlings Roblox game worldwide to digitally engage with Chuck E. Cheese characters as Smashlings, both in-game and in the metaverse. 

In addition to digital adventures, physical in-store activities, digital signage, and enticing prizes will be part of the experience. 

Look out for product sampling weekends at participating Chuck E. Cheese locations on October 21-22 and November 11-12.

Meet Your Favorite Characters as Smashlings

As part of the campaign, iconic Chuck E. Cheese characters, including Chuck E. Cheese himself, Pasqually, Mr. Munch, Jasper T. Jowels, Helen Henry, and Bella B., will undergo a transformative makeover into Smashlings characters. 

Players will be challenged to collect them all, unlocking a dedicated Chuck E. Cheese-branded area within the game.

Design Your Piñata Smashlings

Young creatives will have the thrilling opportunity to participate in a "Design Your Own Piñata Smashlings" competition, with the chance to see their creation featured in the game for worldwide player collection.

Golden Ticket Promotion

The excitement does not end there. A "golden ticket" promotion promises to reward kids who acquire the Piñata Smashlings trading card of a special gold Chuck E. Cheese with a birthday party and an exclusive Piñata Smashlings prize package.

Taking Chuck E. Cheese Everywhere

Chuck E. Cheese is set to showcase Piñata Smashlings video content on its in-store CEC Media Network, spanning over 5,000 screens across all fun centers in the United States. 

Furthermore, digital channels and promotional signage will be employed to engage visitors.

What's Next for Piñata Smashlings

Beyond the initial launch, Darran Garnham hinted at exciting developments for Piñata Smashlings. 

"We will bring the brand to animation later this year, and we're looking at Switch and other platforms for 2024-2025 - but with Roblox being at the heart," Garnham tells Pocket Tactics in an interview. 

In December, Smashlings will make their print debut in the official Collector's Guide.
