Nintendo Switch and Super Mario

While Nintendo confirmed the Super Mario Bros. Wonder earlier this year, many fans speculated that it would not be just appearing out of nowhere without a dedicated Nintendo Direct event. And much to their high hopes for a third Nintendo Direct, September saw the festivities take place and Nintendo announcing the latest updates and the new game.

Mario remains as one of the top franchises from Nintendo in the present, with its 40-year-old run since 1983, the games remain famous, also seeing critical acclaim on different releases. Wonder saw a significant achievement early on, with a 93 Metacritic score that ties it with RE:4 Remake, and beating renowned AAA-rated games in the industry.
