Born over a hundred years ago out of a commitment to deliver some of the most sophisticated and advanced technologies of its era, RCA yet again proves itself a mainstay in the history books.

The company is synonymous with innovation, delivering upon pain points with a multitude of the world's first iterations, including the first color television set, communications satellite, and HDTV programming.

Now circa 2023, with exactly 104 years of pioneering in the arts of radio, TV, and music under its belt, RCA is taking its know-how to the next level with a new monitor lineup that coalesces brawn with beauty.

The M Series QHD monitors are built for PC and console gaming, utilizing impeccable specs to deliver crisp, buttery smooth gameplay at a fraction of the price.

At all but a mere 27-inch, RCA's first gaming monitors don't require massive screens to turn heads thanks in large part to their 2560 by 1440p display resolution. With a 95% DCI-P3 color gamut in line with a 1 ms gray-to-gray response time, they certainly pack a punch in all the right places.

The fast IPS panel likewise ensures you don't miss a thing in the thick of a heated gunfight online, plus the added benefit of looking sleek and smooth even while simply enjoying random entertainment.

Both options come equipped with HDR-10 support and, as one might expect, full compatibility with either G-Sync or FreeSync Variable Refresh Technology. They both even utilize speakers, a feature most conventional monitors skimp out on. Of course, it wouldn't be a gaming monitor without a dash of RGB, allowing consumers a bit of personalization to their viewing experiences.

Several additional features make the M Series a true evolution on the front, including display add-ons, like a crosshair, timer, and FPS counter via the Gaming Setup. There's also an Overdrive function, which allows users to set the amount of motion blur and ghosting the monitor prevents on a scale of high, medium, or low. Both MPRT (Moving Picture Response Time) and DCR (Dynamic Contrast Ratio) are available to amplify overall quality and dark scenes as presented on the display.

Despite coming in two different forms, there's little variation between both of RCA's first-ever gaming monitors aside from the refresh rate. For just $130 more, consumers can get an extra 135 Hz on the Premium version of the M Series Flat Gaming QHD monitor lineup. The more expensive product also comes with a 90W USB-C charging port for phones and tablets, as well as KVM (Keyboard, Video, and Mouse) support to streamline the workspace.

Beyond these additions, both models are practically identical. Those interested can get the Premium M-Series model at $429, or the Standard model at $299 at RCA's official website. Coined RCA Evolution, the new monitor lineup is only but an appetizer of what's to come next out of RCA as it once more aims to elevate the technology sector.

As Vice President of RCA Monitors, Andrew Spence, himself relays in a press release:

"RCA Evolution Gaming Monitors are made to bring the game to life before your eyes with the vibrant colors, immediate response, and smoothness required for a truly immersive gaming experience. Pulling from our storied history, our first RCA Evolution monitors provide gamers with an exceptional product at a value price. This is just the beginning as we continue to grow RCA's presence within the gaming industry."
