Ukrainian Oleg Panchenko considered his market before he named his informational technology company. He researched areas and talked to experts about which European areas to target. The regions most compatible were the Netherlands, Norway, and parts of Germany. To promote his software development services, he wanted to discover what would resonate with his prospective clients.

In northern mythology legends of prosperity and harvest, Panchenko discovered the Norse goddess Freyja. She's known for being able to influence the future and is also called the Giver for bringing affluence and growth. Frejya is often depicted with flowers. Oleg took that symbol and stylized it to represent his company, FreySoft, a fusion of the words Freyja and Software.

"I had worked for seven years as a developer because I liked the creation process," Oleg says. "But I reached the top level. I  was at the stage to become a CTO or quit and do something independently. And since I had an entrepreneurial spirit, I understood that it's better to start doing it for myself instead of for somebody for a salary."

With a solid background in the tech industry, Oleg's knack for identifying market needs and delivering solutions is obvious in FreySoft and its many business-forward features. However, he created FreySoft and his other companies not only to address those requirements but also to set new trends in the industry. His ventures reflect his commitment to bringing innovative, client-centric solutions to the market.

That's why Panchenko created FreySoft as a custom software development agency to transform business people's dreams and ideas into technically feasible realities. He says his company works in front and back-end development, full-stack development, and cloud-based automation. His team has expertise in financial services and banking, as well as human resources technology and consumer-focused aesthetics.

Oleg Panchenko was born to a humble and in-no-ways-rich family in Ukraine and grew up there when it was part of the USSR. The Russian invasion of Ukraine in early 2022 changed all that for Oleg and his family.

"I used to live in Ukraine full-time. But I had to leave my motherland due to war. Between invasions, we moved to the U K, where most of our customers were at the time," Panchenko says. "London, honestly, is a great place for tourism, but living there is something we had to get used to. Six months was enough for us, so we moved to Poland. This is much closer to our culture. That's why we moved here, but we don't plan to stay forever."

Among his other projects is a SaaS platform, FreyStaff, for recruiters and sourcers with tools to save them time and energy on routine tasks. MakeDeal integrates artificial intelligence into its methodologies to provide smarter solutions.

"The combination of elemental logic with the ultimate, improved workflow gives us better results," Oleg says. "AI can help recruiters to create a more personalized pitch to a specific job applicant based on what their actual experience and skills show."

Oleg Panchenko is also an active member of the local and international tech community. He enjoys sharing his insights on the latest trends in software development and recruitment technology with up-and-coming innovators.
