Tesla broadcasted their live stream via X earlier today, and it saw significant moments that detail what the Cybertruck will bring to the world, offering more insights via Musk's presentation. Its broadcast showed various shots of the Cybertruck's development, internals, and facade, especially as Musk came in half an hour late.

More details were added by Elon Musk during the presentation, talking about the cargo capabilities of the Cybertruck, claiming a payload capacity of up to a ton, as well as its massive 11,000 lbs towing capability.

On the other hand, Musk also cited that owners may fit 8x4 plywood sheets, but Ars claims that it counteracts the truck bed which only measures 6x4 feet. Moreover, Musk talked about its four-corner air suspension, 48 V ancillary systems, and torque vectoring.

How Much is the Cybertruck Starting At?

Musk also claimed that the first deliveries of the Cybertruck already rolled out today, with ten units already sent to those who preordered the EV.

The Tesla Cybertruck will start at $60,990 for its base model and may reach up to $100,000 without the EV tax credits yet. With rebates and tax credits, aspiring owners may expect up to $11,000 discounts on the electric pickup.

Tesla's Cybertruck

In mid-October, as Tesla was detailing their third quarter performance, it talked about the much-awaited arrival and launch of the Cybertruck, with the electric pickup finally debuting after massive delays. Since 2019, the world has been in awe when seeing this futuristic-looking electric vehicle, with Musk talking about the truck's capabilities to take on any terrain, including Mars.

A series of tests, leaks, and more surrounded the Cybertruck's development through the years, and this was because those that have already preordered it years ago were not given any actual release dates until earlier this year.

Supposedly, the electric vehicle was set for 2021 amidst the rise of electric pickup developments from rival companies, but Tesla lagged.

From having a bulletproof body and shatterproof glass, down to its aerodynamics that were tested in a wind tunnel, the Cybertruck is now ready to take on the world. The first ten deliveries of the Cybertruck were already distributed to its rightful owners amidst Elon Musk and Tesla's presentation, signaling the start of its electric pickup era to be part of its mainline production to deliver more come next year.
