Smartphone gaming is one thing, but an Android-powered handheld gaming console is taking it to a whole new level, with AYANEO giving the world a teaser of its upcoming Pocket S. This device is an all-in-one Android phone fitted with a dedicated controller already built-in, and while it features the Google-made OS, it is meant for gaming and not for the usual smartphone use.

The teaser gives the world a glimpse of the growing devices from AYANEO featuring the star of the gaming industry, portable handheld consoles, in its smaller form factor.

A new teaser by AYANEO centers on its latest take on portable handheld consoles, officially unveiling the new Pocket S, and what sets it apart from its other tech is that this is powered by Android.

"Inheriting AYANEO's leading Master all-in-one control system for #handheld gaming, it delivers a precise and flexible gaming experience, setting a benchmark for Android handheld controls," said the company.

This almost 9-minute teaser takes users on a significant journey of how the Pocket S was designed, what it has to offer, and the nifty features to experience.

AYANEO's recent release of new devices from its lineup, the AYANEO REMAKE Concept, did not feature the Pocket S despite introducing three new handhelds with it.

Handheld Gaming Consoles in the Market

The world of handheld gaming consoles has evolved significantly through the years, but before, it only saw Nintendo as the only player in the industry, offering the renowned Nintendo Switch for all. After many years of featuring the original console to gamers, there are leaks regarding the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2, the alleged name for its next-gen console, expected this 2024

However, its snowball effect saw many companies following their tech, with Valve's Steam Deck, announced in 2021 and made available in 2022 for the world to enjoy a Windows-powered handheld.

It was followed by more companies releasing their take, with ASUS ROG's Ally, the Lenovo Legion GO, and even PlayStation's Portal

However, there is still another major player in the market for many years now, and this is with AYANEO, which has released many versions of its handheld gaming devices. After its recent announcement, AYANEO is not yet done with what it has to offer the world, with the Pocket S soon offering a significantly smaller device, capable of running massive games and powered by Android.
