Jason Momoa is extremely excited about being the third live action Aquaman, and the first to play the character on the big screen. He has been all over the place lately with a lot of fighting words, and we can only hope that his rendition of the king of the seven seas lives up to the hype.

In an interview with The Daily Beast, the actor spoke about the Aquaman character in an exciting manner. He says that it feels great that he'll be a part of the Justice League movie, and that his son is a huge fan of Batman, while his daughter is in love with Wonder Woman.

At the moment, the children are too young to watch him kick some serious butt in Game of Thrones.

"It's awesome knowing that I'm going to be in Justice League because my son is the biggest Batman fan and my daughter loves Wonder Woman. It'll be cool for them to see me in something because they're not going to be watching Game of Thrones or Red Road anytime soon, but now they can see Daddy kicking ass in IMAX," says Momoa.

He went on to add that being Aquaman feels great because the hero won't have blonde hair. He basically fell short of saying Aquaman won't be a white person, and we are in total agreement. We believe that the people of Atlantis need to be a different race completely, and we are happy things are working out in this manner.

"Aquaman is especially cool because being a Kanaka Maoli-being Hawaiian-our Gods are Kanaloa and Maui, and the Earth is 71 percent water, so I get to represent that. And I'm someone who gets to represent all the islanders, not some blond-haired superhero. It's cool that there's a brown-skinned superhero."

We'd love to see what Jason Momoa brings to the table as Aquaman. There's no doubt he'll be great, but it all comes down to the movie itself because a single person is not capable of carrying a movie on his or her shoulders alone. Bear in mind that we are no longer living in the 80s and 90s.

Jason Momoa is expected to make his first appearance as Aquaman in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, then after that in Justice League: Part One, and then in his own standalone film.
