So many amazing technologies and offerings have been unveiled in previous CES 2024 presentations. This Jan. 10, let's talk about Intel and Elevance Health's take on the annual tech show.

The Intel keynote was spearheaded by CEO Gelsinger as he talked about AI. On the other hand, Elevance Health assigned Omid Toloui, the Vice President of Innovation, to present about digital technology and healthcare.

The CES 2024 continues as Intel and Elevance Health share what's coming and is expected to be a game-changer. We will hear more about AI and digital healthcare here.

For most of CES, it's true that there's no "prime keynote" to begin with. Back in the days with Microsoft, it remained an official part of the event, yet we could not ignore the high-profile discussions we watched from other CEOs.

These days, almost everyone knows what an AI is. It can be a machine, a chatbot, or a platform. For Gelsinger, there's a straight emphasis on AI if it's "for good" or "for bad."

Intel is known for producing high-quality PC parts. Apparently, the CES 2024 talk suggests that it won't be limited to chips. Gelsinger highlighted that trustworthiness is part of Intel's brand, and the company will show how AI works at present.

Of course, for AI to improve, it needs certain training. Intel sees that the use of AI models will be trending. This proves that Gelsinger ditches the idea that the science of AI has an end.

What's more, Gelsinger also discussed the possibility of adding hardware capabilities in the AI space. The Gaudi 3 chip could be the next big thing for the chipmaker.

"We're more optimistic as we make it through the year," Gelsinger said when asked if the company will make it amid economic uncertainties.

It's interesting that Gelsinger lauds the idea of having a trained LLM. He even said politicians move slowly while AI is "moving quickly."

Elevance Health on Special Healthcare Program Using Smartphones

Aside from Intel, Elevance Health would like to speak with the viewers regarding a special program that will offer high-quality smartphones, paving access to digital healthcare services.

For Toloui, digital tools nowadays are critical to support an individual's health journey. The program aims to improve people's health, thus making healthcare "more affordable" for everyone.

It's important to note that smartphones are seen to be useful solutions to address the "whole-health" needs of the world.

Elevance Health expects to launch the program in the US this year. Hundreds of thousands of people will benefit from the program.

For you to be eligible for the program, check if you have an Elevance Health-affiliated Medicaid health plan. There's no official announcement that states will participate in the program.
