TikTok has unveiled a new collaboration with AXS, a prominent figure in global ticketing. The partnership offers fans a fresh avenue to explore and purchase tickets for live events featuring their beloved artists.

"TikTok's partnership with AXS allows us to connect millions of users with legendary artists, venues, and festivals, as well as allows artists to promote their live dates and reach their audience in a whole new way. We are very excited to start this journey with AXS and look forward to supporting the further growth of ticketing on TikTok in the future," Michael Kümmerle, Global Music Partnership Development Lead, TikTok, said in a press release statement.

TikTok Announces its Collaboration with AXS

This partnership marks a strategic move to enhance the engagement between music enthusiasts and their favorite performers, operating across several regions, including the US, UK, Sweden, and Australia. 

The initiative enables Certified Artists on TikTok to leverage an in-app ticketing feature, facilitating the promotion of their AXS live appearances and connections with fans worldwide.

By integrating directly within the TikTok platform, users globally can effortlessly browse and acquire tickets for various events hosted by AXS. 

The streamlined process enables artists to amplify their live performances to existing and potential followers on TikTok, thereby fostering broader outreach and career development opportunities. The integration allows artists to seamlessly include their AXS event links within their videos before publication.

Marc Ruxin, AXS' Chief Strategy Officer, echoed this sentiment, highlighting the strategic alignment between TikTok's expansive influence in the music domain and AXS' robust global ticketing infrastructure. 

The collaboration promises to streamline ticket-buying, granting music enthusiasts effortless access to iconic venues, festivals, and tours.

TikTok is Now an Official Discovery Partner in the AXS Anywhere

Furthermore, TikTok's inclusion as an official discovery partner in the AXS Anywhere program signifies its growing significance within the music landscape alongside established entities like Spotify and Bandsintown. 

The AXS Anywhere program facilitates additional avenues for venues, artists, and partners to drive ticket sales and revenue by leveraging targeted ticket offers and experiences, tapping into the platforms where fans actively seek out event information.
