Blizzard's World of Warcraft Franchise

For almost twenty years since its November 2024 release, Blizzard's World of Warcraft is one of the best-known MMORPG titles available in the industry, stemming from a massive franchise and spinoff games. The company has also released iconic and classic sets, including the return of the Wraith of the Lich King in 2023, bringing back the Call of Crusade raid.

It is also known that the first Defense of the Ancients (DOTA) was based on Warcraft III's The Reign of Chaos and its expansion, The Frozen Throne, centering on a mod that turned it into a multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA).

Through the years, massive expansions and new versions of WoW brought gamers a continued MMO experience, with Blizzard remaining strong with the franchise.
