Body modification has become a popular thing among many. Some people may have taken the pastime too far as 37-year-old Henry Damon decided to cut off his nose to resemble Red Skull from Marvel's Captain America.

As expected, Damon looks horrific, but we are certain that in his mind, he looks fine. The man chose to modify his nose to look like Red Skull, along with other sections of his face. To make things even more terrifying, he tattooed his eyes, so they are pitch black.

According to Damon himself, he had wanted to look like Red Skull for a number of years, but now he finally had the chance. Interestingly enough, he spent a lot of money on his body modifications and still failed to look like Red Skull.

We'd like to know what his friends and family are thinking about his life choices. Chances are, if Damon had actually resembled Red Skull, we'd probably put everything behind us and say how awesome this guy is.

The world should be thankful Damon's favorite character is Red Skull and not the likes of Groot or Swamp Thing. Just imagine him doing body modifications to look like Groot or Swamp Thing?

Henry Damon is not the first person to ask for extreme body modifications on themselves, and he will not be the last. However, he is the first we've seen who may have taken it this far: choosing to remove a part of their body just to look like a comic book character.

If our memory serves us correctly, there was a guy in Asia who did plastic surgery among other things to look like Superman. This is not a joke. He even wears blue contact lenses to have those iconic blue eyes, along with having had his chin split. He seriously believes he's the Man of Steel.
