A new month means a new set of games are being added for the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog. For the month of August, the titles being added will no doubt excite gamers all over the globe.

New Games Added to PS Plus Game Catalog for August 2025
Here are the games that will be added to the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog for August 2025. These apply for both the Extra and Premium tiers.
- "Atelier Ryza 3 Alchemist of the End & the Secret Key" (PS4 and PS5)
- "Coral Island" (PS5)
- "Earth Defense Force 6" (PS4 and PS5)
- "Harold Halibut" (PS5)
- "Indika" (PS5)
- "Marvel's Spider-Man" (PS4 and PS5)
- "Mortal Kombat I" (PS5)
- "Sword of the Sea" (PS5)
- "Unicorn Overlord" (PS4 and PS5)
The following games will be added to the catalog for the Premier tier only:
- "Resident Evil 2" (PS4 and PS5)
- "Resident Evil 3: Nemesis" (PS4 and PS5)
All of the games will be available to play come August 19.
'Death Stranding 2: On the Beach' Game Trial
In addition, a game trial for "Death Stranding 2: On the Beach" will be made available on the aforementioned date.
This means that, players will have access to a time-limited trial that will allow them to enjoy five hours of gameplay.
However, it should be noted that this will be available for Premium tier subscribers only.
